Please follow the road up Mjøbakken (behind Samhold) until you get to a sign marked Ramneberg ca 20 meters after the toll road. The trail is well-marked and takes you through the forest and up the mountainside to Ramneberg. Here, you’ll be rewarded with a great view of Øvre Årdal (Upper Årdal); it’s a great opportunity to take a break here. Follow the marked trail onwards in a sporadic steep terrain up to the cairn nicknamed “Sprekisnosi” (“Healthy hill”) at 997 masl.
